So here I am back in Saskatoon for the last week of rehearsals for Beauty and the Beast before previews next week (yes, my name is misspelled “Willet” on the Web site–I really, really hope it’s not in the program), leading up to opening night next Friday. My “day off” in Monday involved a two-hour meeting, writing a web column for CBC (which I failed to post before I left and don’t have with me, so it will have to wait until next Monday to appear on the blog), writing my science column (which I did remember to post), a phone interview with Victor Sawa, maestro of the Regina Symphony Orchestra, about their upcoming performance of Handel’s Messiah, writing a story about said performance for the Regina Leader Post, picking up my daughter from school, taking her to CBC with me while I did the Web column, then taking her to dance class, taking my wife to and from work, struggling with a thrown breaker that put half the house into darkness, and finally going off to audition for Regina Lyric Light Opera‘s musical brunch in February, called Thoroughly Modern Broadway.

Now that I’m back in Saskatoon just rehearsing seven hours a day (going to nine as of Saturday), I can finally relax!

Oh, and one more minor writing note: I see that Marseguro has appeared on the DAW site in the list of upcoming books from Penguin Group. It’s getting close. Yay!
