Major science award for Canadians

Two Canadian scientists, Ernest McCulloch and James Till of the Ontario Cancer Institute and the University of Toronto, have been jointly awarded a $50,000 U.S. prize from the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation for their pioneering work in identifying stem cells.
