Je Me Souviens

My short story, “Je Me Souviens,” which appeared in the Summer 2002 issue of Artemis Magazine, has been resold for inclusion in Ride the Moon, an upcoming moon-themed anthology from Tyche Books. As per the contract, I’ve removed it from my website until after that anthology has been out for a while.

“Je Me Souviens” received an Honorable Mention in The Year’s Best Science Fiction: Twentieth Annual Collection, edited by Gardner Dozois, and garnered a couple of very nice reviews:

Artemis Magazine“This quiet story was laced with melancholy and full of dignity.” — Greg Beatty, Tangent Online

“…the most overtly spiritual of the issue’s septet of stories and also the most lyrically written…a commendable tale, quite effective in showing both the subjectivity of progress and the sad, ultimate ethereality of tradition.” — Daniel E. Blackston, Firebrand Fiction Reviews, SFreader.com

Be sure to get a copy of Ride the Moon when it comes out, to read a whole passel of great stories…and mine, too.
