Writing Diary: July 22, 2004
Late again with this, but it was exciting yesterday: I not only made it to the end of Shards of Excalibur Book 1 (63,400 words, 302 pages), I printed it out so I could give it to someone for critiquing last night; I’ll print it again this afternoon to mail to another critiquer.
Ran out of time and didn’t get any Orson Scott Card done. And I’ve complicated my life by taking on a tech editing job for Wiley. But at least I won’t lack for things to do between now and going on vacation in a couple of weeks.
Today I have to finish up the final proofing of Lost in Translation, and prepare some author material for Five Star. OSC may get bumped again. But there’s always the weekend…
