Morning: column on time perception (to appear in this space later today). This was one of those science columns where I thought, “Oh, this should be easy,” and a couple of hours of clicking and printing out and reading and digesting later, finally set words to paper.
Fiction writing followed; I got a few good pages–well, a few pages, anyway–done on Razor Wind. At least that long-moribund sucker is showing signs of Frankensteinian life again.
Then, I plunked out the rest of the text for the Sustainaibility Comic Strip (it’s not as silly as it sounds, honest!) for the Science Centre. I finished that up just a few minutes ago–shortly after midnight, in other words–so I could e-mail it on over.
Tomorrow, I have page proofs on my quantum physics book to go over. That’s not as onerous a task as it sounds, since the book is only the length of a longish short story. Also, of course, I must edit my science column into shape for my faithful readers of both the online and dead-tree variety.
Probably no time for Doom 3 at all. Such a hardship-riven life I lead…
