I’m thrilled to announce that I’m up for two Aurora Awards this year! Fireboy is on the ballot for Best Young Adult Novel, and The Worldshapers is once again on the ballot for Best Fan …
I spent a good chunk of today at Wordbridge, the annual writers’ conference in Lethbridge, Alberta. My main reason for coming was to launch a Shadowpaw Press title (Broken Realm by Jenna Greene, a Lethbridge …
This is Easter weekend; last weekend, I sang in the Easter concert of First Baptist Church here in Regina as a guest soloist and chorister. The whole concert is worth listening to, but if you’d …

The last photo from Banff…this time

Here (and in the previous few posts) are the final pictures of Banff I’ll be posting this time around. I end with a photo of the Banff Springs Hotel, because this is where my wife and daughter and I will be returning to at the end of October for the International Wine and Food Festival.
I daresay you’ll see more Banff photos (Banffotos? Hmmm…no, that sounds like some weird kind of tortilla chip) when we’re here at that time.
I’ll post more about the Writing With Style workshop itself when I’ve gotten back to my home office and reviewed my notes. Now it’s off to Calgary, eventually onto a plane later this evening, and then home, sweet home, with wife and daughter.
I can’t wait.
