Brief opening scene of Translator on a deep-space freighter. Not from his point of view, from Captain’s. They detect something, just briefly, flashing past before they or their systems can react. And then the Translator tries to seize the bridge…

Yes, today I was brainstorming my other possible next novel, a sequel to Lost in Translation…which, by the way, I just discovered yesterday (when I received my SFWA newsletter) was recommended for a Nebula Award by Robert J. Sawyer. Thanks, Rob!

And remember, Lost in Translation will be out in paperback this fall from DAW Books. October, I believe. Mark your calendar!
