“Walter Twiddle” is, of course, an anagram of Edward Willett, courtesy of the Internet Anagram Server, which, by the way, is a place you do not wish to go unless you have time to waste.

WALLED RED TWIT – A poli-sci professor who hasn’t left his Ivory Tower since 1965 and hasn’t changed his political views, either.

LAD TWIRLED WET – A dancer, straight out of the bath.

WAD WILD LETTER – Excellent advice, especially if your wife might find it.

WALTER TWIDDLE – My new pseudonym!

“EAT DEW, DR TWILL!” – A rather lame attempt at defiance, aimed at a rather lamely named mad scientist.

TALL RED WED WIT – A headline in variety about a red-haired actress marrying a comedian.

TRAWL IDLED WET – Lazy machinery in the rain.

WALT TRIED LEWD – Title of a scanadalous new book claiming that the Disney studios once attempted to make an X-rated animated film.

ART DID WELL WET – Which is why he became a swimmer.

I could go on…but I won’t.

    This is too fun, Ed! I am “Nadia Heart.” Obviously, I write romance novels 😉

    I think my husband would get a bigger kick out of this variation: “Airhead Tan.”

    Let’s just not tell him about that one…
