Marseguro a Science Fiction Book Club selection
Googling this morning I discovered that
Marseguro is listed as a selection
of the Science Fiction Book Club in the U.S. (though not yet in the Canadian version), due out in a hardcover book club edition in April.
I presume it will eventually show up in the Canadian SFBC, but I don’t know for sure: I don’t really know how book club selections work, or the precise relationship between the U.S. and Canadian SFBCs. But, anyhow…

Your book should wind up in the Canadian version of the SFBC soon after (maybe a month or 2), this is usually the case unless something is specifically negotiated otherwise.

Actually (at least in my contract) they’re lumped in with a bunch of other rights that the publisher can exercise.
Very, very cool. Your agent can probably fill you in on the details. Aren’t Book Club runs a right that is negotiated separately?
