Marseguro a Science Fiction Book Club selection

Googling this morning I discovered that Marseguro is listed as a selection of the Science Fiction Book Club in the U.S. (though not yet in the Canadian version), due out in a hardcover book club edition in April.

I presume it will eventually show up in the Canadian SFBC, but I don’t know for sure: I don’t really know how book club selections work, or the precise relationship between the U.S. and Canadian SFBCs. But, anyhow…

Woo-hoo, again!

Your book should wind up in the Canadian version of the SFBC soon after (maybe a month or 2), this is usually the case unless something is specifically negotiated otherwise.

Actually (at least in my contract) they’re lumped in with a bunch of other rights that the publisher can exercise.

Very, very cool. Your agent can probably fill you in on the details. Aren’t Book Club runs a right that is negotiated separately?
