I spent a good chunk of today at Wordbridge, the annual writers’ conference in Lethbridge, Alberta. My main reason for coming was to launch a Shadowpaw Press title (Broken Realm by Jenna Greene, a Lethbridge …
This is Easter weekend; last weekend, I sang in the Easter concert of First Baptist Church here in Regina as a guest soloist and chorister. The whole concert is worth listening to, but if you’d …
I put a link to this in the previous post on my Aurora-eligible work for 2025, but wanted to highlight it. This was my contribution to the Shapers of Worlds Volume V anthology, and it …

I’ll be reading in Saskatoon Monday…
…at 7 p.m. at McNally Robinson Bookstore. This visit is to promote A Safe and Prosperous Future: 100 years of engineering and geoscience achievements in Saskatchewan.
I’ll probably be reading the chapter on Saskatoon’s bridges, in honour of the location.
The reading will take place in the Prairie Ink restaurant attached to the bookstore. I understand that 18 members of the Cosmopolitan Club are coming, and there should be some local members of APEGS (the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan) on hand, so at least I know there will be more than four people on hand like the last time I read there.
Oh, and I’ll be on CTV Saskatoon again at noon again with Jeff Rogstad.
If you’re in the area, tune in and then come on out!
