Writing Diary: August 24, 2004
Not much creative writing today, I’m afraid. I edited down my CBC version of the science column into the lean, mean columning machine you see a couple of posts down from here, then spent the rest of the day reading and correcting the page proofs for Introduction to Quantum Physics: The Photoelectric Effect and Line Spectra. I even took them with me to Second Cup rather than taking the laptop for fiction writing. So, no fiction today.
Tomorrow, though, for sure; I still have some panels to do for the Science Centre’s Sustainable Development exhibit, but I’m sure I can squeeze in a couple of hours of fiction writing. And then fiction writing may be all I have to concentrate on until I hear back from Orson Scott Card.
