Quantum physics book done!
I turned in my kids’ book on the basics of quantum physics (specifically the photoelectric effect and line spectra) today. It’s an invigorating 6,000 words, aimed at high school students but with a lower reading level (I hope). It was fun to write, really, since I didn’t know much about the topic ahead of time and got to educate myself as well as prospective readers.
What, you thought I knew all the stuff I put in my science columns and books ahead of time? As if!
Now it’s back to the biography of Orson Scott Card…and time to get back to my new YA fantasy novel.
The fun never ends.
