Writing Diary: October 4, 2004

Well, that’s better! Tried to blog off and on all day (and last evening, too, come to think of it) and Blogger did not seem to be working.

But, here I am!

Not much to blog about at this hour, though. No science column today–that’s tomorrow’s duty since this is a non-CBC week. (Sniffle. I still can’t get used to being on only every two weeks instead of every week.) I got some good editing done on Excalibur Reforged, though. And I talked to the editor of the Orson Scott Card bio–they’re getting a bit antsy for it to get done. Oddly enough, so am I, especially since it looks like the basic book on genetics I’m going to be writing is coming up soon. I’ve also got a bunch of copy for some new Saskatchewan Science Centre exhibits on hockey to get cracking on.

Not that I’m complaining. After all, when the history of this time is written, no one will say, “October 4, 2004, wasn’t that the day that Ed Willett suddenly realized he was going to be getting really busy really soon?”

No, the thing they’ll remember about today is this.
