No doubt when a cat bites a man, that’s not news, either–but when a cat shoots its owner–well, that is undoubtedly news.
The weapon in question was a 9mm handgun, and the cat has refused to testify. Bleeding-heart liberal cat advocates claim it (its sex has not been disclosed) discharged the firearm by accident, but I say, as the owner of a law-abiding cat for 18 years, throw the book at this feline felon!
Or the old shoe, whichever is closer to hand.
