Scientists and God

A new study reveals that a majority of scientists believe in God. That holds true across all disciplines, although scientists in the social sciences are more likely to believe in God than those in the natural sciences. For example, around 41 percent of biologists don’t believe in God, but only 27 percent of political scientists are non-believers.

In a separate study in June, 76 percent of doctors surveyed said they believe in God and 59 percent said they believe in some sort of afterlife.
