The world’s smallest mobile robot

Researchers at Dartmouth University have created the world’s smallest untethered, controllable robot: about as wide as a strand of hair, and half the length of, say, a period in 12-point Times New Roman. Or, to put it another way, about 200 of them could fit in line across a plaine M&M–even more across a peanut M&M!
