The first sentence I wrote today…
Emily swam through the tunnel as fast as she could, hoping she hadn’t misjudged how close the drone was and the range of its weapon…and also hoping its artificial intelligence wasn’t smart enough to realize just how rotten the rock was in Sawyer’s Point, because all it would take was one discharge to bring the tunnel through which she now swam crashing down on her.

Second Cup writing today, and just a smidgen while I sat around in case anyone wanted an autograph–although, since I think I’d already autographed pretty much every one of the 15 copies that White Dwarf Books sold of Lost in Translation (the entire stock they brought to VCon–I was pleased!) nobody did. And once my battery died on my Audiovox Harrier (because although I put it in its cradle last night the cradle wasn’t actually connected to the laptop) I called it quits. I might write some more later; we’ll see.
