Photo of the Day: Marseguro in hardcover!

Look what came in the mail today: a copy of the Science Fiction Book Club edition of Marseguro. It looks great in hardcover. (Also, as you can see, much, much bigger…)

Darn you back to heck, Edward Willett, you evil enabler, you!

Yes, I signed up and yes, I ordered Marseguro. It came today. Along with the five others…

Do you have any idea how high that pile beside my bed is getting? That’s without counting the books I have reserved at the library. And the library list of books to request later. Plus the Reading List file…

I blame you. It’s obviously ALL your fault.

Not much point, since the book is sold via the website or the flyer, so no buyer of the hardcover will even see the back cover until they already own the book.

They couldn’t toss on some review comments? Or do they not bother, since it’s not really for sale to the general public?

Yes, it’s the same art. They put the blurb that appears on the back of the paperback on the jacket flap, though, which means the back of the hardcover looks a little blank, since it has a large neutral space specifically designed to carry the blurb.

Congrats! Do they just blow-up the existing cover art for the larger format books?
